My psychiatric experience includes working in acute care psychiatric hospitals and private practice outpatient mental health care. My journey led me to continue my education and become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, allowing me to prescribe psychiatric medications. I have worked in geriatrics, rehabilitation, Med-Surgical, and LDRP, and I found a passion for psychiatry while working with children in a residential setting. I have over 30 years of experience as a nurse working in various settings. My wife and I spent several years living in Rhode Island, and while there, I earned my Masters's Degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Mental Health Counseling from Rhode Island College. I enjoy reading about the rich history of homes in New England and have developed an interest in the restoration process of these old homes. When I am not spending time with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, biking, running, reading, and doing projects in my home.
